This gorgeous 1971 Corvette convertible was just treated to a full body-on restoration. The quality, fit and finish of this car will amaze you. The 100% original body was finished in it's original color, code 973 Mille Miglia Red, using base coat clear coat. The original numbers matching 350-270 horsepower engine still rests between the frame rails, as does the original M21 close ration 4 speed transmission and rear end. As stated this Corvette was body-on restored, needing only to be freshened up. New leather seat covers were all the original deluxe leather interior required. All bumpers and bright work were rechromed or replaced. Options would include code C60 factory four seasons air conditioning that blows ice cold. Code N40 power steering and code U69 AM/FM radio. New stainless steel calipers, new master cylinder, new BF Goodrich radial T/A tires at all four corners. The frame and undercarriage of this corvette is truly spectacular. It almost looks like an older frame-off restoration. Original jack and spare tire. Mostly original interior and unmolested no-hit body, you just don't find them like this anymore! Add to the fact that this is a factory air-conditioned convertible with a 4-speed, finished in red (real red) and you have something extra special. Buy any other sports car and you get just a "car." Buy a Corvette and you get a piece of "tomorrow." |
